Ruckus and Purple have announced an integrated Reach for the Cloud bundle that combines Ruckus Cloud Wi-Fi management with Purple’s customer analytics and engagement software. Ruckus and Purple have announced an integrated Reach for the Cloud bundle that combines Ruckus Cloud Wi-Fi management with Purple’s customer analytics and engagement software. According to Purple Chief Executive Officer, Gavin Wheeldon, the Reach for the Cloud bundle will help new and existing channel partners better engage their customers in retail and hospitality sectors, as well as large public venues. “Our combined Reach for the Cloud bundle is tailored to help channel partners and their customers meet the demand for simple, seamless and robust cloud services for enhanced in-store engagement and experience,” said Wheeldon. “Channel partners and customers can now view the Purple Portal’s rich CRM data, analytics, and in-built marketing automation tools while managing the simple yet powerful Wi-Fi network from Ruckus Cloud portal or mobile app.   “We are dedicated to opening opportunities and delivering value quickly to sales cycles in target markets – and proud to be the first partner integrated with Ruckus Wi-Fi for a bundle package,” said Wheeldon. Duke Butler, Sr. Director Cloud Services and Global Alliances, Ruckus Networks, expressed similar sentiments. “By bundling Purple’s customer analytics and engagement software with our Cloud Wi-Fi, partners can bring more value to their retail and SMB customers,” he stated. “This is the first of several retail bundles we plan to bring-to-market with our alliance partners. We look forward to extending this collaboration.” As Butler notes, the Ruckus Cloud User Interface (UI) demonstrates the simplicity of the integration between Ruckus Cloud Wi-Fi and Purple. “The Ruckus Cloud UI pre-configures relevant data by pre-filling the fields after a customer chooses Purple as the partner,” he added. “This effectively eliminates potential configuration-related issues, reduces troubleshooting and improves service robustness through backend API integration.” Cloud-based networking enables businesses to comprehensively monitor and troubleshoot their Wi-Fi network with a single web dashboard and mobile app. The Reach for the Cloud integration takes the complexity out of deploying, managing and monetizing Wi-Fi networks. With Reach for the Cloud, businesses can immediately switch on and action insights for an improved channel and customer experience. This new bundle is scheduled to be available in the U.S. through WAV,  ScanSource, and Synnex. The Ruckus product code for the Purple/Ruckus bundle will be initiated through distribution to identify the bundle offering. Purple will process their SKUs based on the PO from distribution, with a one-, three- and five-year offering.
