E6D108: HLX Domain Manager Overview (online - prerequisite for the instructor-led course)

• This eLearning (online) training course presents an overview of the CommScope HLX Domain Manager Graphical User Interface (GUI), the Dashboard features, tools accessible on the Dashboard, and the navigation menu. It also covers the initial Settings menu that allows users to configure default values and other settings that will be used in Domain Manager. (Duration: 20-30 minutes)

E6D246: HLX Domain Manager RMD configuration (Instructor-led - Flexible Templates - Layer 3)

• This instructor-led training course presents the CommScope Distributed CCAP Architecture (DCA) HLX Domain Manager Graphical User Interface using the new Flexible templates configuration process.
• It is essential that students enrolling in this class have attended an RD3 Series Remote MACPHY CLI configuration instructor-led training course, such as E6D242 Remote MACPHY Overview and Implementation/CLI (command line interface) training course, and/or the student already has sufficient hands-on experience to independently configure a Remote MACPHY using CLIs. Alternatively, students that have attended E6D201: E6000 CER Operations instructor-led training course and/or have hands-on E6000 CER CLI configuration experience, will benefit from this course. Without this prerequisite CLI configuration experience, a student will have difficulty keeping pace with the course or participating in the hands-on lab.
• Please be advised: Configuring Flexible templates in HLX Domain Manager requires that the student already knows the CLI syntax and the sets of CLIs that are used for configuration. HLX Domain Manager does not offer CLI assistance.

E6D109: HLX Domain Manager Modify Flexible Templates (online - post-requisite for the instructor-led course)

• This eLearning (online) training course adds to the E6D246 HLX Domain Manager Flexible Template instructor-led training course. It presents the steps that are taken to modify an HLX Domain Manager Flexible template. (Duration:30-45 minutes)

Audience: CATV head-end personnel, network engineers, and field personnel responsible for networks that provide high-speed data-over-cable services.

Prerequisites: A basic understanding of CATV systems, RF plant fundamentals, and data networking. The student should also have DOCSIS knowledge (TEC202 and/or TEC301 and TEC302 recommended), working command line configuration experience for a Remote MACPHY, or have attended E6D242: Remote MACPHY Overview and Implementation/CLI instructor-led course, or alternatively, CMTS working experience, such as experience with E6000 CER configuration, or attended E6D201: E6000 CER Operations instructor-led course.
